State Alliance Security Academy is a Houston base security training academy, offering everything from professional armed security licensing to continues education in armed security licensing and unarmed security certification. Due to the demand of security personnel in Houston and beyond, our security training academy facility can get you certified in any realm of the security field. We follow all materials and training as required by the Texas Private Security Bureau. Our classroom training approach are fascinating with state of the act equipment. Our instructors have years of active working experience in security industry / environment and will provide you with real life experience and scenarios that correspond with the security training material. Our classes are interesting by presenting relevant, current, and actual work experience cases, allowing you to more readily learn the materials.

PROFESSIONAL/CONTINUES EDUCATION
1. Firearm proficiency training
2. Crisis and conflict resolution course
3. Tactical and self defense course with state of the act equipment.

All PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS SHOULD REGISTER ON OR BEFORE
FRIDAY TO BEGIN CLASSES ON MONDAY AT THE ACADEMY OFFICE

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A SECURITY OFFICER IN TEXAS

  • According to State Law, you must be at least 18 years old (Via the 1968 Fed. Gun Control Act).
  • At least 18 to have a gun and 21 to buy a gun.
  • A person with a family violence conviction can't have a gun handy since 1994.
  • No Felony conviction.
  • No Class A Mis. in 10 years generally (new rules applies) 5 years from disposition date.
  • Most Class B convictions in the past 5 years are not acceptable.
  • Some B's like first offense, drunk driving B, suspended License B, drug B, prostitution B, etc are considered
  • Successful deferred adjudication (dropped and dismissed) are considered
